Dear son,
I am writing to you today while we are in our third and final trimester of pregnancy. As you grow each day within my womb, I become more and more excited and scared to share you with the world.
Being chosen as your mother has been a privilege and an honor, and I cannot thank you enough for teaching me the grace and love of God.
Your dad and I are so blessed to call you our son and to welcome you into our family, and the world come early 2019.
There is so much I would like to write to you, but this letter and these words will fall short to articulate exactly what you mean to us and what we pray for you.
Here are a few pieces of my heart I wish to share with you now that I can formulate into words.
You are so loved and deserving of love.
We promise to provide for you and love you unconditionally.
You will always have a place in our hearts and in our home.
We cannot promise you perfection as parents, and we do expect it from you as our son.
You will make mistakes, fall down, and overcome obstacles. These will shape you and make you into the man God is creating you to be.
I pray you follow your passions and desires in every season of life.
You are a walking and breathing miracle – never forget this.
I pray you laugh and love so deeply it changes the vibration of everyone and everything around you.
Live a life of passion and purpose. Find what makes you unique and give it away freely.
Love others and treat others the way you wish to be loved and treated. Everyone you meet is deserving of love.
I hope you find reasons to smile daily and share your greatness with everyone that surrounds you.
The world needs you – all of your gifts and all of your talents. Please leave this physical planet in a better place than you found it.
God is with you everywhere you go and every step of the way through this life.
You are a child of God.
My son, my biggest desire for you is to experience this life, in all of its glory, all of its beauty, in all of its possibilities, and know you are here for a divine purpose. Allow God to lead you and work through you.
You are a miracle and your dad and I thank God for blessing us with you every single day.
We cannot wait to meet you and experience our lives with you in it.
We love you so much.
Love,
Your mom
