One year ago, we sold our 1,800 square foot home and moved into an 850 square foot apartment.
We have two adults, one toddler, and one dog in our space.
Four beings, living, functioning and thriving in 850 square feet.
We have a bigger, healthier, more vibrant life now that we have a smaller (physical) space.
What we have GAINED by living with LESS:
-More time together as a family
-More walks outside
-More reading
-More homecooked meals
-More adventures
-More creative time
-More smiles
-More love
*Sounds amazing, right!*
We no longer have physical items within our space that weigh us down.
The items within our small space add value to our life and serve a purpose.
We will never be “done” with minimizing and downsizing.
We stay intentional with our purchases and only bring in items that will enhance our life. We have found ourselves buying groceries and nothing more as we already have everything we could possibly need.
We have each other,
a roof over our head,
clothes on our back,
food in our bellies,
fresh water,
clean air,
and love in our hearts.
We already have it all.
The meaning of our life doesn’t exist in a physical item.
It’s already within us and all around us.
Minimizing has reframed our view of what we need and we have found a life of so much more now that we have less.
Thanks for reading and being part of Team Tanck!
